How to MedSpa

about_us

When should I arrive at the MedSpa?
You should always arrive 10 minutes in advance of your appointment time so that you can
allow yourself time to check-in, change, and familiarize yourself with the MedSpa.

When should I make my MedSpa appointment?
Please call as far in advance as possible to ensure availability of your requested services.

Can I wear jewelry during my appointment?
We suggest that you remove all jewelry or valuable items prior to the start of your appointment.
The MedSpa cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal articles.

What do I need to bring to the MedSpa?
Yourself. The Epi Center MedSpa provides robes and sandals for your comfort. For the
protection of your clothing, we ask that you wear the robe that is provided.

What not to bring to the MedSpa?
In order for everyone to enjoy the MedSpa environment, we kindly ask that if you bring
your electronics that you keep them on silent mode. If you need to answer your cell phone,
please excuse yourself so not disturb other guests.

What if I am running late?
Arriving late will limit the time of your appointment thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure.
Your treatment will be modified and end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next guests
scheduled appointment. Please call and let us know so we can prepare for your late arrival.

What if I can’t make my MedSpa service?
Please give us a 48-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid a
cancellation fee being billed to the reserving credit card. This includes “No Show” appointments.
The cancellation fee is $75 for a medical appointment and $50 for a spa appointment.

What is the tipping policy?
A 15% gratuity is always appreciated by the aestheticians when having a facial. Gratuity
will not be accepted for medical services performed by the nursing staff.

How do I bring the MedSpa experience home with me?
When leaving, stop by the MedSpa Boutique to purchase your favorite skincare products used in
our treatments. Your treatment provider will recommend products that would most benefit your skin
during your treatment. In addition, the MedSpa offers gift certificates ideal for any occasion.

What do I do to prepare for laser hair removal?
You should shave the area to be treated the morning of treatment. Wear a sunblock prior
to treatment. You do not want to be freshly tanned prior to treatment.

What if I am using prescription topicals?
You want to stop any prescription topicals, unless otherwise directed, 3 days prior to any
treatment at the MedSpa.

What if I am pregnant or breast feeding?
We have very few treatments that can be performed if this is the case. Laser treatment can
be performed when lactating, however, numbing cream cannot be used. It is best to call
and speak to a medical professional if you are concerned.
