Chemical peels are topically applied acids that create a uniform and controlled exfoliation of several layers of the skin. Depending on the nature and depth of the peel, a significant number of layers can be exfoliated creating a fresh and vibrant appearance.
Light Peels (30 minutes/$120)
Beneficial for any skin type, these superficial peels provide a light exfoliation that smoothes texture and tightens pores. These peels are antibacterial and help to reduce breakouts and lighten pigmentation. Expect very light flaking for 2-3 days.
La Roche-Posay Micro Peel (50 minutes/$145)
Cleansing and exfoliation begins with dermaplaning that removes fine facial hair and gently lifts dead skin cells. Alpha hydroxyl acids are then applied to further brighten and illuminate. Skin is then polished with a CO2 buff and moisturizer and sun protection is applied. Recommended for those with Rosacea or sensitive skin.
Antibac Peel (35 minutes/$145)
Salicylic acid peel that fights bacteria, reduces oil production and softens acne scars. Peels are best done in a series and controls acne breakout. Expect mild to moderate peeling for 3 - 5 days. Individual results may vary.
Skin Medica™ Vitalize Peel® (30 minutes/$200)
This mild to moderate peel designed by Skin Medica will provide an effective but gentle skin peel treatment. Beneficial for reducing the appearance of fine lines, improving skin texture and tone, and achieving a more youthful appearance.
Pacific Heights Peel, South Beach Peel
and Nob Hill Peel (55 minutes/$200 - $450)
These proprietary peels are medium depth peels that have been specially formulated to combat sun damaged skin, acne and acne scarring. Often we combine this treatment with the PhotoFacialSM for optimal results. Consultation is required prior to treatment.
Obagi® Blue Peel ($650 - $1200)
The Obagi® Blue Peel is a one to four step application of blue solution mixed with TCA (Trichloracetic Acid). These applications will lead to the removal of thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin. Layers of dead skin cells exfoliate and are replaced by healthier ones allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface. Consultation is required prior to treatment.
